Jeanette Spires offers a wide range of educational consulting services for young people. Whether you are concerned about finding the right college, boarding school, or residential treatment facility, she can help you think through your options.
 Jeanette has a broad background in educational counseling. She has served as school and college counselor in two overseas U.S. high schools: The American Embassy School in New Delhi, and the American Community High School (Lincoln) in Buenos Aires. She has also worked in rural and suburban high schools in Illinois. She published early research in the use of biofeedback with young children back in 1974 through study at the Menninger Foundation and Kansas State University. She has been in private practice since 1981. A nationally certified school psychologist, she holds two master's degrees, one in counseling from Pennsylvania State University and the other in school psychology from National-Louis. She has worked for years with Children's Oncology Services Education Fund as a college counselor for cancer survivors.
National presentations and workshops over the past fifteen years include the National Association for College Admission Counseling, National Association of School Psychologists, Illinois School Psychologists Association, the Association of Educational Therapists, The College Board: presentations on testing for Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and South, and other professional and private groups. Her book, What Do You Know? Wisdom for the Road Ahead, designed for the young adult, is available directly through Jeanette. E-mail her for details.
